HONEYCOMB-YELLOW Judged best yellow, most aesthetically pleasing of 57 varieties by 126 plant connoisseurs at Dirr's test plots in 1997. Large shrub averaging 5 to10 feet when mature. It has large sweet smelling yellow flowers and is hardy in zones 5 to 10 where it blooms all summer and into the fall months. It prefers a well drained, moist, soil in full sun. It will attract an amazing number of butterflies when in bloom. |
