Fargesia rufa ‘Oprins selection’ Green Panda, originally from China, is extremely cold hardy and heat tolerant. Actually get 6 to 8 feet wide. Maximum height 18 feet. USDA hardiness zone 5-9. A favorite food of the giant pandas.

Green Screen Clumping Bamboo TM - Fargesia robusta ‘Pingwu’
Green Screen is an upright variety with white culm sheaths that are densely covered with hair. Excellent to use as a hedge or screen with non-invasive roots. Tolerates heat and high humidity in Southeastern U.S. unlike other types of bamboo. Maximum height is 18 feet and USDA hardiness zones 6-9.
