Plants are 12 to 15 inches high, grown in 8 inch tall containers. They are hardy in zones 5 to 7. This is a disease and insect resistant Fir adapted for the warmer areas of zones 6 & 7. Will take the heat of zone 7 with afternoon shade, has good dark green color with a narrow pyramidal growth. Prefers a moist well drained soil, grows to 50 feet. A 1994 Pennsylvania Horticulture Society Gold Medal Plant Winner
